Sekhmet • Egyptian Goddess

In Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet is a warrior goddess as well as goddess of healing. She is depicted as a lioness. She was seen as the protector of the pharaohs and led them in warfare. Upon death, Sekhmet continued to protect them, bearing them to the afterlife.

This statue kit features the goddess Sekhmet with a human head rather than a lion head. Her helmet is shaped to resemble the head and main of a lion. Sekhmet is depicted raising above the souls of the dead slain in battle. The base features lion heads and statues of Sekmet surrounded by heiroglyphics.
